Frequently Asked Questions

  • Therapy is a supportive and collaborative process where you have a safe space to talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. It’s not about being “fixed” or told what to do, it’s about working together to understand what you’re going through and finding ways to cope, heal, and grow by reflecting on these experiences.

In therapy, you can explore challenges such as anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling “stuck.” At the same time, therapy isn’t only for times of crisis; it can also be a place to get to know yourself better, clarify your values, and make meaningful changes in your life.

Every person’s journey is unique, and therapy can provide the tools, perspective, and support to help you navigate yours. My role as your therapist is to listen with empathy, bring in psychological knowledge and strategies, and walk alongside you as you move toward greater clarity, resilience, and well-being.

  • Increased self-awareness – Develop a deeper understanding of your thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns.

Feeling heard – Experience a safe, nonjudgmental space that can help you feel less alone in your challenges along with feeling understood

Symptom reduction – Reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and other concerns with evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Enhanced coping strategies – Build practical tools to manage difficulties and regulate emotions more effectively.

Improved relationships – Strengthen communication skills, and learning how to set healthy boundaries

Support through life transitions – Receive guidance during grief, divorce, career shifts, or other overwhelming circumstances.

Greater resilience – Cultivate the ability to adapt to adversity and maintain well-being over time.

Achieving Personal Goals – Intentional goal setting partnered with active support can help you overcome various challenges be it a phobia, social anxiety or other

Please note that the benefits of therapy often take time, and the relationship between therapist and client is a key factor in facilitating growth. Keeping communication open throughout therapeutic process is strongly encouraged.

  • Typically, we’ll meet at the same time either weekly or fortnightly, tailoring the plan to suit your needs. Sessions last about 50 minutes on average.

  • Each therapy session costs €80. I also offer a free consultation session, giving you the chance to ask questions, discuss your needs, and see if therapy feels like the right fit before committing.

EFT helps you transform unhelpful patterns, strengthen your relationships, and create emotional experiences that support your well-being in everyday life.
